NFL SEASON PREDICTIONS 2022-23

  The NFL Season is finally here and after weeks of preparation and moving things around, so are my NFL Predictions. Some of these takes may come as a surprise but I am confident and ready to set them in stone.  Feel free to comment on my Instagram @domwithablog to tell me where I'm right or where I'm wrong. With that said, here we go.  (via cbssports.com) AFC # Team Rec Div 1 14-3 6-0 7 9-8 2-4 11 8-9 2-4 14 6-11 2-4 # Team Rec Div 2 13-4 4-2 5 12-5 4-2 6 10-7 3-3 9 9-8 1-5 # Team Rec Div 3 12-5 4-2 8 9-8 3-3 12 7-10 3-3 13 7-10 2-4 # Team Rec Div 4 11-6 4-2 10 9-8 3-3 15 6-11 3-3 16 2-15 2-4  NFC # Team Rec Div 1 12-5 4-2 5 11-6 3-3 9 8-9 5-1 16 3-14 0-6 # Team Rec Div 2 12-5 4-2 7 10-7 4-2 12 6-11 2-4 13 4-13 2-4 # Team Rec Div 3 11-6 5-1 8 9-8 5-1 10 7-10 1-5 15 4-13 1-5 # Team Rec Div 4 10-7 4-2 6 10-7 3-3 11 7-10 3-3 14 4-13 2-4  PLAYOFFS

NFL 2022-23 Award Predictions

Offensive Rookie of the Year:   Chris Olave      This past April, 6 wide receivers were selected in the first round of the NFL Draft. I think a lot of those receivers will have the chance to succeed with their new teams in 2022, but I think that Chris Olave will have the best opportunity to shine. Olave is the perfect fit with the Saints and he can be a key factor in the offense right away. One of the things you notice first about him is his blazing speed, he ran a sub 4.4 40-yard dash and is one of the faster guys from the Draft. A lot of his production at Ohio State was because of this speed and I see it translating to the NFL. Pairing this speed with QB Jameis Winston's tendency to throw the deep ball downfield, will be a match made in Heaven. Jameis is always willing to throw the long ball and I think Olave will come down with it a lot of the time, especially with the uncertainty of Michael Thomas coming off of a 2-year hiatus.  Defensive Rookie of th...

How the New York Giants Won Round 1

The first round is always a mystery with the Giants. In the last few seasons, they have selected players that nobody expected with their first pick. But this year things finally seemed to change.  With their #5 overall pick, the Giants selected Kayvon T hibodeaux. Aside from Aidan Hutchinson, I saw Thibodeaux as the best defensive player in this draft. And there was a time when he was seen as the consensus #1 overall pick.  I think he slipped a little for two reasons injury and character. On September 4th, he suffered an ankle injury that sidelined him for 3 weeks before he returned only to be injured again in that game. After he finally got back onto the field, he quickly looked like himself again and had multiple 2 sack games. People believe that the game missed gave time for Hutchinson to take the lead as the best defensive player and he never looked back. Another issue scouts had with Thibodeaux was his character. There were multiple games last year, th...

NFL MOCK DRAFT 2022

DOM'S 2022 NFL MOCK DRAFT 1. Jacksonville Jaguars: A idan Hutchinson- DE, Michigan      For the second year in a row, the Jacksonville Jaguars have the first selection in the NFL Draft. This team has a lot of holes and could use a lot of positions but Hutchinson has been the consensus #1 pick for months now and I don't see them passing upon him. He is a strong DE that can take over a game and is clearly the best player in this year's draft.  2. Detroit Lions: Travon Walker- Edge,  Georgia     I originally had Malik Willis being taken here but after thinking it over I decided to go with Travon Walker. Walker has been flying up draft boards for a few weeks now and is widely considered a top-five pick. He is a monstrous defensive end that was a key part of the Georgia Bulldogs College Football Championship. I think that this may be a little high for Walker but I think he will translate well in the league and will pan out for Detroit. As for the QB ...
