The Giants lost to the Cowboys in Primetime

How many more times do I have to read that headline?

I still don't understand why the NFL feels they have to put this "rivalry" on national TV every season when the Giants haven't shown up in a Dallas game in 8 years. But that is beside the point.

New York once again failed to score a touchdown, and the offense was again hard to watch. Coming into the game Dallas had a bottom-five rush defense and had been exposed all season. Meaning Daboll (hopefully) noticed this and wanted to make running the football a focal point. Despite this, Dallas had their best game against a running back allowing just 24 yards to Singeltary on 14 attempts.

The Cowboys basically stacked the box every play and challenged number 8 in blue to beat them, but he couldn't, shocker. As we have seen time and time again, Daniel Jones just cannot get it done in primetime, especially when it's against the Cowboys.

The play that displayed this the most was the first play of the second quarter. The G-Men had a free play as one of the Dallas defenders jumped offsides, Daniel Jones had all the time in the world to make a throw to a wide-open Darius Slayton and instead underthrew him for an interception. I legitimately think that 31/32 starting quarterbacks in the NFL are able to make that throw hitting Slayton in stride for a touchdown.

I am sick and tired of defending this guy. The Giants fans who say "Well he didn't throw a pick" or "he made some good throws" need to open their eyes. The guy is average at best. In DJ's best season, they won WITH him, not BECAUSE of him. There is a huge difference there.

I would like to give credit to the Giants defense who looked great again last night, holding Dallas to just 20 points. They did all they could do to give the G-Men a chance to win but the offense was yet again unable to get into the endzone at home. This game now marks 634 days since Daniel Jones has thrown a touchdown pass at MetLife Stadium. I repeat 634 days since throwing a touchdown in your HOME stadium. Just atrocious.

With the offense looking horrendous outside of Malik Nabers (who may already be a top-10 receiver in the NFL) and the season basically over I think it is worth a shot to give Drew Lock a few starts. See what you have in him and maybe resign him for next year as a bridge QB and someone to help develop whoever we draft in April.

The Giants now have nine days until their next game, when they travel to Seattle to play Drew Lock's former team, the Seahawks.

NFL MOCK DRAFT 2025

DOM'S NFL MOCK DRAFT 2025 (Image via NFL.com) 1. Tennessee Titans:   Cam Ward- QB, Miami  The Will Levis experiment in Tennessee failed last season, which led to the Titans holding the first overall pick in the draft. The team needs a QB, and Ward is the best one available. Although he may be a bit of a project, Ward has the intangibles to become a star QB in this league. I love his confidence and composure in the pocket, as well as his elusiveness when he gets free. An A+ pick for the Titans. 2. Cleveland Browns:   Travis Hunter- WR/CB, Colorado Hunter might be the best prospect the NFL has ever seen. Not only is he an elite wide receiver, but he has also become one of the top shutdown corners in all of college football. Although it's still uncertain which position he'll be drafted as, he is worthy of a top-five pick, regardless. I think he...

Houston is a Problem

In a wild NBA weekend, the Oklahoma City Thunder won the franchise's first-ever championship, Tyrese Haliburton tore his Achilles, and Kevin Durant was traded to the Rockets. As crazy as it sounds, the Durant news felt more important to me as an NBA fan than Game 7. The Thunder felt like a team of destiny all playoffs long, and after Haliburton went down, it all but solidified they’d become champs. But this article is focused on the next chapter of KD's career in H-Town. Yesterday afternoon, while on stage at Fanatics Fest in New York, Kevin Durant found out he had been traded to the Houston Rockets in exchange for the No. 10 pick in the 2025 draft, five second-round picks, Jalen Green, and NBA “villain” Dillon Brooks. (image via theringer.com) This marks the end of the big three of Booker, Beal, and Durant in Phoenix—yet another failed superteam on KD’s résumé. But this move to Houston feels different. Durant, who admitted Houston was at the top of his preferred destination li...
