DOM'S NFL MOCK DRAFT 2026 This 2026 Draft has all the makings of a memorable one. According to multiple sources, this could be one of the most trade-heavy draft days in recent memory. Even in an already unpredictable draft, projecting trades is borderline impossible, so I’ll mostly stick to the current order, mixing in a few where it makes sense. Let's get into it. 1. Las Vegas Raiders: Fernando Mendoza- QB, Indiana It’s become a trend in my recent mock drafts that the No. 1 overall pick feels like a consensus no-brainer, and that continues here. All signs point to Mendoza as the choice. He’s an elite pocket passer and will have the benefit of learning behind recently acquired Kirk Cousins. The real question isn’t who they choose but how long it takes before Mendoza takes over as the starter. 2. In what was the Giants’ most important game in three years, they took on the Raiders in the 2025 Tank Bowl, a matchup where the loser would control the number one overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. In typical Giants fashion, with the top pick on the line, they played their best football of the season. The win drops New York to the number two pick in the draft order, but there is still a path back to the number one selection. A loss to Dallas next week for the Giants, paired with a Raiders win over a suddenly lowly Chiefs team, could still flip the order. While a loss might have helped the Giants add draft capital, this win still mattered. Even against a flawed Raiders team, there were legitimate positives. THE KNICKS HAVE WON A TROPHY! Last night, the Knicks took on the up-and-coming Spurs in the championship game of the third annual NBA Cup Tournament in Las Vegas, and walked away with hardware. Sure, not the one that everyone who bleeds orange and blue wants to hold, but you still can't stop me from celebrating! (via @nyknicks on Instagram) After carrying the Knicks to the title game while averaging 33 points per Cup game , Jalen Brunson started slow against the elite defense of Stephon Castle. While Brunson didn’t dominate the scoreboard the way he had earlier in the tournament, he still finished with 25 points and made the shots that mattered most in the fourth quarter. With that said, this game was ultimately won by New York’s bench .
